B5 — For receivers

The B5 uses the same data export workflow as B3 — USB (PC or Android) or Bluetooth via the Cydiance App. The B5 has no LED indicators; use the LCD for a quick status check on arrival.

LCD on arrival

Press the button to wake the LCD. A Play triangle (▶) means the logger is still recording; NULL means it is not. The screen turns off after 5 seconds.

Important: DO NOT remove the plastic bag unless you need USB access for final readings.

USB connected to a PC

1. Remove the plastic bag if needed.
2. Plug in USB.
3. Wait about 30 seconds for PDF and CSV files to appear.

USB connected to Android

1. Use a suitable USB OTG adapter.
2. Plug in the logger and open PDF/CSV from your file manager.

Bluetooth on Android

1. Install the Cydiance App.
2. Enable Bluetooth and connect to the logger.
3. Download data without opening the package.
